Language Link London
Language Link has been providing top-quality tuition in foreign languages ever since the creation of the company in 1975. Starting with one school located in the heart of London's Kensington District, Language Link has sought to provide high quality language education, and to promote cooperation, mutual understanding and communication between nations. In 1991, in an effort to better serve the nations of Eastern Europe, Language Link decided to open an English language school as part of a pilot program in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia, now the Slovak Republic. The success of this venture was so great that Language Link was able to quickly expand both the number of schools that it was operating as well as the range of language services that it offered. Today Language Link employs over 400 teachers who, each day, provide 20,000 students the opportunity to study foreign languages in Great Britain, Germany, the Czech and Slovak Republics, Poland, Viet Nam, China, Russia and Uzbekistan.Language Link Uzbekistan
In november 2007, Language Link first entered Central Asia by opening its representative office in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and in december 2009, NTM 'Language Link' was established giving it full rights to operate as a language training facility. Together the representative office and 'Language Link Tashkent' became better known as 'Language Link Uzbekistan'.
Language Link Uzbekistan is currently undergoing a rapid expansion programme and aims to begin courses in General English, IELTS preparation and Business courses in Spring 2008. The long term goal is to establish similar facilities in neighbouring Central Asian states such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tadjikistan and Turkmenistan.
Language Link Uzbekistan also aims to be the first in Central Asia to offer the Cambridge 'Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults' or better known as the 'CELTA'. We also aim to offer the 'Teacher Knowledge Test (TKT)', again a first in Central Asia.
Language Link Uzbekistan can be the first to claim to be a premier school, recruiting teachers who are all native speakers, university graduates and are certified to teach English as a foreign language.
